I'm Philomena Carroll, an artist, photographer based in Whitehorse, Yukon, northern Canada.

I am the owner of the website www.pcarrollfineart.com.

My art, print shop is hosted on Squarespace Inc. whose site wide privacy and cookie policy is updated for the The General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR).


My site Cookie policy provides details of Squarespace cookie and analytics use on this site, your opt in and opt out options and what I have chosen to restrict in order to respect your privacy.


The only personal information collected on this website is exclusively to:

1.  Facilitate the buying and selling process. When you purchase something from my    store I collect personal information you consent to give, such as your name, address, email and phone number only to provide service to that order.

This information is also required to place print orders, ensuring accuracy, professional care and attention to detail for printing and shipping in a timely manner.

2. Ensure accurate shipping address, location information.Some details must be used for courier/ postal tracking and insurance.

3.  Purchase order documentation needed to process sales accurately. Including invoice and certificate of authenticity for the purchasers records. Also necessary should there be shipping, damage or return questions.

4.  Subscription opt in form for my Studio Blog newsletter. I require your email address and first  name with last name as optional.

5.  Should I enable comments on various pages - there may be an email requirement to leave a post. As per my Terms and conditions for this site, beyond monitoring comments for respectful language your information is not used in any way or recorded. There would also be a time linmit set for comments after which they will be deleated.

 My website checkout process is partnered with Stripe to securely process payment.

It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS).


  • As such, I never learn or store your credit card information.

  • Squarespace doesn’t have access to or store this information.

When a purchase is made through my website shop checkout both Squarespace and Stripe share your name, address, and email with me to only to enable completion of the sales transaction.

I have SSL enabled on this website.

You may see a lock icon next to your URL in the browser unless you are using an old browser. This allows visitors to navigate the website and submit information through a secure connection.

  1.   My website checkout credit card process payment gateway platform is Stripe.
  2.   My email newsletter is through Mailchimp.
  3.   Large format print orders are printed and shipped through Print Art Photography.ca.
  4. Only your name and address, location  details are required and shared to determine best shipping options, for tracking and in case of damage during shipping for insurance claims.

1.  Unsubscribing anytime from my newsletter. There is an easy option directly on each newsletter to unsubscribe at any time, thereby removing your email contact and name from the MailChimp list, no other record is kept.

2.  Request to review and / or delete data. Contact Philomena Carroll, as the owner of the website www.pcarrollfineart.com, directly by email in writing.

I will provide the information within one month and work with you to change, update or delete data as you request.

Retaining and Deleting Your Information
I will keep your data for no longer than is necessary strictly for the purpose you gave it to me.

  • Purchase documentation: Initially will be kept in case of purchase issues such as returns and as records of sales.For business, tax and legal purposes sales records must be kept for a minimum of seven years and a maximum of ten years from the date of purchase.

Correspondence information: Any direct written  communications will be kept for the sole purpose of responding accurately to inquiry's and will be subsequently deleted.

  • The information collected is only shared with others if required by terms of service/agreements with those parties, if we are legally required to by law, or there is a serious violation of my website Terms and conditions regarding breach of copyrights or fraud where I may seek legal advice and action.
